Why I teach and tutor

The look in a student’s eye when he or she “gets it”.  Plus, I love math and applying it to real problems.

Approach to teaching

Everyone can learn and enjoy learning given the right approach

Math, physics, and engineering are very process oriented and most textbooks are capable of showing how to perform the processes.  However, students generally need:

Additional help understanding and implementing details of the processes

Help with previously “learned” concepts that were not really understood

Help identifying, correcting, and preventing mistakes and misunderstandings
